When the office is quiet

I don't make a habit of staying on in the office too late, but there's something about the place when people head off and quiet replaces the busyness of the day.

Time seems to slow and suddenly I find the space to search for that thing I've been meaning to look up, or complete a task which keeps slipping away, having been replaced by something more urgent.
