Breakwater
For today's Derelict Thursday Challenge I'd intended to blip a chair that I spotted on the river bank a couple of weeks ago. When I found it again it was more of a collapsed footstool.
Bumbling home along Morecambe prom I found liquid light turning the sea milky white. Cars and walkers were stopping to grab their share of the view.
An autumn afternoon glow was bouncing off this derelict break water.
The breakwaters have long since been replaced by stone sea defences whilst these wooden groynes gently rot into the mud.
