A SUNBATHING DOG

not a familiar sight and more so while she is pontifically occupying the chair on the balcony. Loved this dog right away.
It was my turn to sort out my clothes (after collecting some of them at the dry cleaners), I had dreaded it, I have to admit it, but once I started it was rather easy, perhaps because I had gone over it in my imagination quite for a long time.
Not too much place here in The Hague in the closet and I can hardly oversee how much place I will have in Germany. Decisions, decisions. But in the end I am pleased and can smile at my own little neurosis.
Later in the evening I will come back, we will drink a glass of wine with the lovely couple that will travel tomorrow and wanted to say goodbye before they leave.

My haiku:

Who says dogs or cats
Do not have a soul who knows
That we have our own

And the quote by Agnes Repplier in A Plea for Humour:

Wit is as infimite as love, and a deal more lasting in its qualities.
