Derelict Thursday - HMP Lancaster

I wasn't really intending to enter Sarum Stroller's #derelictthursday challenge, I don't generally plan my blips, just see what happens. But today we did the epic drive 'up north' to visit family near Carlisle. We left home at 5am and hit Lancaster by 10 when we were more than ready for a fry-up in Wetherspoons. We had a wander round the town afterwards and walked up to the Castle, which used to be the town prison. I don't know how long ago it closed but a quick wander around the back of the cafe revealed this derelict area. It's not a great shot, I had to hold my phone between the wires of the fence, but derelict it is, so it's today's blip!
