Crying Wolf!

This statue/carving/plaque is situated above ground floor level in the Wolf Craig, Stirling.
The little rhyme below the wolf is rather confusing as they are pack animals who hunt by running down their quarry, certainly not by stealthy ambush. It does make me wonder if the creature in question was really a lynx.
We had a busy morning clearing out some cupboards which were badly in need of de-cluttering. After lunch, a little trip to Stirling provided the above blip and allowed us to top up the fridge.
A quick look at my calendar shows that I am due to visit my surgeon one week today. I feel that my recovery has gone pretty well and am hopeful that I will be cleared to resume driving. If so, I suspect a few family members may miss the ready availability of the car!
