My house

After an overnight flight, D surprised me at the airport! We only had about 10 minutes together before he went back to work and I went south to Debre Zeit where I will be staying until Friday. It's strange to be here on my own (and I really am on my own, since I'm the only guest here..) but a very relaxing place to be. In fact I keep falling asleep so I must really need the rest! This is my room, overlooking Lake Babogaya. From here, I can watch the sun rise and set and the birds come and go. There are lots of these big tortoises around, they have been rescued and live here, keeping the grass short. They have their houses with them all the time.
