Portobello Beach

This week has been a quiet week, I don't really mind though as we haven't really had a chance to just sit around and relax yet - we are always on the go on days off wanting to explore as much as possible.

So we decided that we would hop on the bus and do a short trip to Portobello - a quaint Scottish seaside town. The beach is actual sand too which you don't really get to see much of in the UK - usually pebbles and rocks. After a nice walk along the beach (and putting our feet in the ice cold water) we headed into the town which consisted of one main road which had a few shops. After the short walk through town we headed back to the beach for Fish and Chips (a necessity whenever you go to the beach) for dinner before heading back to campus.
