Edinburgh Calton hill

A short stay in Edinburgh to meet my son now at uni and away from home now for a wee while. Took advantage of proximity of my rented apartment to Calton hill for a sunrise shot. Unfortunately the weather decided to turn and the sunrise was a bit of a disappointment
"Dugald Stewart was a professor at the University of Edinburgh, holding the chair of moral philosophy from 1786 until his death. The Royal Society of Edinburgh commissioned the monument and selected its site in 183 built in 1831"
