Swans at Black Springs, Pentlands Hills

A short, brisk walk from Harlaw reservoir up onto Black Hill took me along what must be a feeder pool for both Threipmuir and Harlaw.

The swans' whiteness against the dark surface of the aptly-named pool caught me eye.
