Hydrangea Thinks it's Summer

This hydrangea bush in our driveway landscaping has produce a new blossom and a companion seems on the way. They're the only new blossoms on the bush--though it's over a meter across (three feet) and has at least 15 large fading blossoms like the one on the right.

It's possibly due to rain last weekend, with unseasonably warm humid weather. More rain has started this evening and it's forecast to be heavy tomorrow; I'll report whether more blossoms make an appearance.
