Souvenirs
Only took two photographs today, this is the one of my souvenirs, a Khunja (it's only got a 4 inch blade so is UK legal!) and a bottle of sand from the beach in Masirah where we stopped the coach for our lunch and a swim.
Miserable weather today and lucky that it wasn't raining when I took Jonty and Foxy out for their morning walk.
They both went mad when they saw me at Gloucester coach station late last night, always get a lovely welcome from dogs :-)
Marlane brought them with her to pick me up, she said they just wouldn't be left behind after she said she was going to get 'Daddy'.
Marlane has had an exhausting week as well but in a totally different way to me and the others on the trip to Oman.
She had to pick the boys up from school 3 days out of the 5 so that meant preparing meals for them and all of the clearing up and tidying that results from having a 7 and 10 year old around, as well as all of the normal work around the house and the dogs. She loves it though, just wears her out.
She said today how she loves it when Lennon just comes up to her and puts his head against her for a cuddle, she's a lovely Granny :-) (Oh, and a lovely wife as well of course!).
On the blip of me at the beach, a few days ago, our 3 year old Nephew said to his Granny (my sister in law) "Why is Uncle David at the beach, he should be at home making cakes" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
