Happy 10th Birthday Blipfoto

Early start today to go to Asda with my friend Jan. Freezing cold this morning so when I got home I put the heating on and stayed indoors for the rest of the day.

I did pop out into the back garden to feed my neighbour's cat Fluffy ( I call her Fluffy - her real name is Cheeky). I saw her outside so I went out with a dish of cat food. She ran over to me meowing and hissing alternately. This is her usual behaviour. Anyway I put the dish down and she sniffed it and turned up her nose - wouldn't touch it. I bent down to speak to her and she ........ attacked me. Leapt at my face with her claws. What a fright I got. I could feel blood dripping. I moved towards the closed back door and Fluffy started clawing at my legs. Opened the door and she tried to get inside. Had to push her away with my leg while she was clawing at it. Managed to get inside and quickly shut the door. It felt like a scene from Hitchcock s " The Birds" - renamed as " The Cat ". No idea why Fluffy behaved like this today but I am going to give her a wide berth from now on. Nasty cat. My face was bleeding quite badly but once the bleeding stopped and I had cleaned up my face there isn't much damage. Just 2 tiny holes. Could have been a lot worse.

I decided to try and get a red balloon shot for the 10th birthday of blipfoto. Bought some balloons in Asda and blew a few up - much to the amazement of Tino and Lily. TINO had fun with them outside on the patio.
