VIKING INHERITANCE

When I could no longer comfortably put my right hand in my jeans pocket, I went to see Dr. Drossos at the Parc Léopold Clinic. He looked at this rather crooked hand & asked, "Have you by chance any Viking ancestors?"

Told him my mother was from the Orkney Islands & he appeared to be quite pleased with himself. Explained that I had inherited a Viking gene which caused amazingly strong fibrous material to strangle the tendons of fingers causing them to contract.

OK! He operated & the right hand has straightened out - but now the left hand is going Viking!

Not feel sorry - what you get is what you get n'est-ce pas?
