New Boots

Found out this morning that my next door neighbour and friend, Corrine died last night.

It was a terrible shock. She was incredibly kind to me, the children and especially our cats, Twenty and Phelps, and our dog Charlie. She loved animals and spoilt ours and made a fuss of them all the time. She was also friends with my mum and showed her a huge amount of kindness at a time when she really needed it.

She loved knitting like me, but especially crochet and we often talked about making things.

I will miss her kind presence next door very, very much.
