Slowly.......

It was raining again today, and as I write this it is tipping it down for England!
I had to go to Pets at home after work, as Freddy is out of food again, so my chances of blipping were really reduced.
So I am afraid today's blip is a lovely yellow coloured, White-lipped banded snail in amongst the autumn leaves.
The white-lipped banded snail Capaea hortensis occurs fairly commonly in a range of habitats including waste ground across the uk.
Like other snails, they posses both male and female sex organs (hermaphrodite), and although capable of self fertilization usually choose to mate with another snail throughout the summer.
