Waiting game...

I happily volunteered to pick up a friend after a cataract op today. She rang to tell me that she would be ready around 12.30 for collection but we didnt end up leaving until 2.30! She was still in the theatre when I arrived so the waiting began.. and the League of Friends cafe which produced the most delicious piece of cake and tasty mug of coffee had these rather lovely green walls. I hadn't taken a book to read (how stupid am I?) so the walls became interesting!! I must say the area was very light and rather lovely.. if I lived nearer I might even volunteer.. the cafe was bustling and busy.

Outside the rain hasn't let up most of the day.. so walls it is!
