The milkman

Dying breed. I find it hard to believe that the milkman still survives. It was not long ago (maybe twenty years - is that not long?) when you had the breadman calling as well. I cannot remember when we stopped having our milk delivered. With shopping in supermarkets and having fridges. I think people drifted away from having it delivered.

I suppose it is a link to the past, one of those things that people always had done, so they continue on with it.

I do not begrudge the milkmen their job, they work hard and are up early, but I would not give it many more years.  

I still see the pototoe man going around and the egg man. I will blip them when i see them.
