Celebrations

All over Blipfoto there are many beautiful, funny and clever shots including red balloons in celebration of Blipfoto's tenth birthday. And I continue to blip my bloody feet, it's like I really haven't got the first idea of the whole concept.

Except (I promise) this is the last time I will blip my feet. (In a broken leg healing situation before my feet accidentally enter a shot in three years time and NickC the pedant claims it is an illegal blip or something). Today I got all my post operative dressings and bandages off, the lovely nurse who was very happy to see me with no bolts declared herself delighted with the healing, stuck on one solitary dressing and sent me home. And then I had my first normal standing in the shower shower in nearly two months. And then put socks on both feet. And declared myself normal again ignoring the fact that one foot is about 50% bigger than the other and a distinctly lumpy shape.

For my next "new" thing, while thanking the car gods that mean my new car I bought 3 months ago is an automatic, I am going to turn my hand at driving again. I might drive myself to the red balloon shop......
