A Frustrating Day

Again, today was very wet, so I decided to sort out some files and place them on a suitable memory stick. Recently I have gone over to using Mac computers nearly all of the time and only occasionally using Windows machines. I tried to copy the files onto the memory stick from a Dell computer running Windows 7 (much more stable than Windows 8). I copied almost one GB of data onto the memory stick, only to discover that the Windows system, had corrupted nearly every file during copying. I tried to erase the files using the Windows machine; it failed to fully erase all of the information that I had put on. I then tried to reformat the memory stick, once again this produced a failure. In the end I went back to the Mac to erase and repair the memory stick; I still have not yet copied the files, the above activity took all day!

Today’s picture is off the Mac computer screen during its corrective actions. The memory stick works perfectly on a Mac although it is FAT32, set up for Windows. I yet await to see if it will now work on a Windows machine. I now remember why I went from Windows to Mac!!!
