Japanese Holiday day 19, Moby Dick and the spoon

For almost three weeks we have tried lots of types of Japanese food and have largely enjoyed the experience and have coped with using chopsticks for most of them. Today the Japanese breakfast defeated us (N described the flattened dried fish item as dockyard roadkill), and tonight dividing this 'big fish' with only a spoon and chopsticks was beyond us. Luckily the lady at the next table took pity on us and got the staff to provide us with a knife and fork.
