'M Pavilion'
The M Pavilion is a temporary structure designed by Sean Godsell, a well known Melbourne Architect who is always pushing the boundaries with his unique designs.
It opened up just last week and will remain here in the Queen Victoria Gardens until February next year and is expected to host a number of pop up events over the next few months.
The design is a series of steel columns and beams to support the openable flaps which can be set at any angle depending on how much sun the user wants to block or filter and at night the entire thing folds closes down and becomes a secure box.
I will continue to monitor what events are held here over the next few months and how the structure performs in each iteration of it's use.
