Ruins and graffiti

Loving Girona, which has everything from medieval cathedrals to great shopping and lovely bright squares filled with bars and restaurants.

Being in the heart of Catalonia, there are also lots of independence statements and the Catalonian flags hanging in many windows (reminds me of the run up to the 19th Sept back in Scotland) and some fantastic graffiti.

This shot is of a mid-terrace building which had been ripped out internally - not many signs of it being rebuilt any time soon - with very bright orange and yellow plasterwork which shone in the sun ...
