A lovely young man who works at the Kandahar Indian Restaurant in Cairo which is world class. He knows us well from the past and greeted us warmly.

Otherwise, it's been a day of very deep cleaning with all my UK North Presbyterianism coming to the fore as I went at the grooves of the sliding window frames with gusto and moved the two ton bed to mop up the dust that had been gathering under it for, well, quite some time!

Dd seemed pleased with my Herculean efforts!
