Leading the Way

This is how I like walking best, next to being off the lead, of course. Me ahead, exploring, with all my senses sharp and alert, and mum bringing up the rear.

Walking without a lead is not possible in the city where we live. But in our yard, and on the field next to the football fields in the background, we can do obedience training and I can play freely.

Today, not very obediently, I ran across our whole yard to the far side, which I'm not supposed to do, to bark at the yellow motorbike that's normally there, it's just it wasn't. Mum was Not happy. But I came back on Here the first time she called, which should be something to be very happy about, I think.
