Majestic vistas, or not…

I escaped for a run today and headed up onto the Dodds. Shame the cloud height was 50m lower than the hills. There was something exciting about being so isolated on a Lakeland fell - even got the compass out to double check I was going the right way.

We all went to see the Herdwicks getting their nails trimmed when I got back. Then had a lovely walk round the farm with the boys and my folks in the afternoon. More tree spotting :-) I especially enjoyed tricking the boys into going right to the other end of the farm after agreeing we could head back. Bwa ha ha ha haa.

Decided eldest boy needed more exercise so dragged him out for a run. Over the river and along the bibbly bobbly path through the woods. Not sure if it worked, but I'm pooped :-)
