... learning.. everyday a bit

Today I was trying some "serious" edition.. I mean, having control on things without using ready to use filters or effects...

Started with 2 exposures.. one for the sky, one for the ground and made the blend myself.

It's a few days I am studying 2 techniques.. and today I did my first try.
1. Exposure Blending ...
2. Non.Desctructive Dodge & Burn...

The first one it's some sort of a controlled HDR.. but we do the blending of the exposures ourselves instead leaving to the computer the decisions.. with a brush varying the size and the intensity we "paint" the blend..

The second one is wonderful.. allows one to literally "paint" light or shadow in localised areas without changing the luminosity of the whole picture.
It's non-destructive. that means it is detail lossless and doesn't creates artefacts in the picture. .. just love it, the more I get keen to use it sharply.

I think the picture looks a bit "dreamy" but I like it."
