If you can't beat them...

The River Glenderamakin

I had to deal with the growing mountain of recycling so after visiting the village recycling centre I decided to have a run looking for blips. I decided to go along a little single track road I haven't been on for years.

Fortunately it isn't busy as firstly when I stopped to take shots it would have been a squeeze getting past, also at one point I was on my hands and knees in the middle of the road. Before anybody asks I was shooting a hairy caterpillar which was crossing the road(it might have been a Ruby Tiger moth but there are many others similar).

As I moved down the road I has shots of Blencathra from an angle I have never bliped before, cattle, barbed wire, Lichens, a particularly fine Limousin Bull etc. I discovered a new walk beside the Glenderamakin (not a right of way but a permissive path) some time when I have more time I will have to explore. This shot is from the bridge where the walk starts.
