Wet streets, mist covered hills

I excused myself from socialising and took a moment to myself when I took this photo. A party had been laid on for us at the castle to celebrate the end of a busy season after work. I took this from a balcony at the castle barracks overlooking the south of Edinburgh and the Pentland hills. It was a nice, relaxed evening and a much needed end to my working week, I left fairly early with a friend who lives in the same direction as me. I'm looking forward to my long weekend, sleeping late will be in order!
