Oh No - not again!!

Those who follow the journals of Coffeepotter, Technophobe and myself may be aware of the chaos in our village that was caused by 2 weeks road closure recently. This was caused by work to unblock drains that were causing a flooded road.

Well they dug two large holes and told us the problem was fixed.

It's a shame it didnt rain while they were on site as the problem is just as bad as before. Water is pouring out of this drain and flooding the road so that pedestrians get soaked by passing cars.

I took some photos and sent them off to the County Council surveyor this afternoon who was a little dismissive to be honest. I dread to think how much this fiasco has cost the ratepayer but it seems that nothing has been achieved by it.

We waited 30 years for them to fix this problem. I expect we will have to wait another 30!
