Snuggle up!

It's been what I believe is known as a dreich day again here ( easy for you to say, I can only write it, no idea how to pronounce it! ).

This morning I went to give the girls their breakfast and open up the hutch. They hate rain, so I wasn't expecting them to rush out, but they hardly greeted me at all, choosing to stay in the 'bedroom' section.

I noticed everything seemed very wet inside and as I was cleaning it out, wondering how the rain had got in so badly I realised water was dripping onto my hand - darn it, the roof's leaking!

Hurriedly sorted out a space in the shed for their travel hutch and transferred them over. They were such happy little girlies to be out of the wet!

Fixing up their hutch is now on our 'to do ' list for the weekend!
