Near miss

I got caught out Blipwise today with the sun going down behind the hill early and my leaving the office later. I must remember the early bird - and his worm.

This is a nice Cistus whose name I've never known - flowering again, as so many plants have done this year. I love the way that the flowers take some time to iron themselves out - much like the wings of a butterfly gradually absorbing blood.
