Downhill the Sp33dy way.

In my excitement to get out on my bike tonight, I made a juvenile error and left my camera at work. It was a tough decision whether to head back losing time, or forget it and rely on my trusty old compact for a change. Decided on the latter as I couldn't bring myself to make Sp33dway wait for me (even though I have spent a good few years of my life waiting and waiting and waiting for him).

With the annoyance of the camera oversight put behind me we set off for Llandegla and an evening of lung popping, thigh burning, peddle power. It's only the second time I've been around the fantastic forest trail and I think I'd forgotten the pain of the ascent. Certainly didn't go up in a speedy way. It all became worthwhile for the stunning views and rapid descents, not forgetting the chance to have a catch up with my buddy.

Best of all I managed to stay in the saddle. Reckon there could be a bit of stiffness in the morning!
