Drip drip

Got my new glasses today, a pair for distance and a pair for reading. As I barely need the distance ones and the difference they make is marginal. I shall call them my pointless glasses, since I will only use them for watching Pointless!

CleanSteve picked me up from my class in Stonehouse today. We're looking at Post-war literature and film. Today we did a whistle stop tour of A Child's Christmas in Wales by DylanThomas; the St Trinian's cartoons and films; I, The Jury by Mickey Spillane; The Secret Life of Walter Mitty - the short story by James Thurber, and both film versions!

This is the Judas tree in the dripping garden. It was too grey to take any imaginative photos of Stroud today.
