2nd Breakfast

Eggs farm fresh (from the Saturday Farmer's mkt.) -- one brown and the the pale blue green, mushrooms (from store and not a fungus walk in the woods.) The oil painting by a friend of The Farm (featured a few days ago robed in autumn splendour), a few freshh flowers from the planter on the front deck.
The omelet was terrific and satisfying. This photo is not so great -- too busy I think. I was in a rush to get the goods into the heated pan.
In case you are wondering-- In our house we all get a "2nd Breakfast"-- that means me and the 3 cats.
First one comes too early for more than coffee and buttered toast for me. The cat residents gobble something off the floor before heading out for essential cat work.
Then a few hours later I like more coffee & some protein... or cold cereal. The floor diners get more of their same menu usually.

This blip done, I am off to spend a long time at the next town's library for a long time. (Oh, did I mention l o n g already?) This library has comfy chairs, modern computers all in a line, and an excellent selection of DVD films to take home. I need to do some actual work with fewer distractions: 3 weekends of community prayers to go past November 2nd. It is my volunteer service for our little church. (Nov. 3rd I go into the hospital for spinal surgery and rehab. Do not want to think about volunteering after then for a while.)
On the way home i will return for refund a lot of large plastic water bottles at the grocery store-- the one that has the best bakery. Yum... a well-deserved treat awaits me in my future. The bigger breakfast will have worn off by then. Glad to have the morning blip done and off to you.
