The Visitor

This little flying creature dropped in on me (literally) this afternoon. I slowly got the camera ready, gradually creeping up on him from behind in the hope that he wouldn't just fly away!

He was very co operative and was still there an hour later!! I have no idea what he is, perhaps a flying ant. With his blue black body and colourful wings he was quite lovely!
