Let it go!

Another day, another park. The girls loved the fact that they could slide together, E as always more hesitant and cautious than fearless A who attacks the play park with a terrifying amount of energy and agility way beyond her one year age. On a huge wobbly bridge for ten year olds she even pushed away my (catching) hands. We had a picnic in the golden sunshine, chased squirrels, collected leaves, made friends with a ladybird who seemed to love E's cardigan, chatted to pigeons and geese, marvelled at how "Milly and Mandy" the coots from Inverleith arrived here in West London. "Did they come by rocket or train Mummy?" Then continued our dose of vitamin D with more playing in the sandpit and another play area. Surely they will sleep soundly tonight. Chris brought Treacle Tart and creme anglais home tonight. Apparently a pastry exercise, in my opinion he passed but maybe that was the Golden Syrup talking!
