A wedding week No 2: the primary years

Today sees a brief journey through H's primary years. The same smile as today but slightly more ginger hair adorn these photos. She has done her best to be seen increasingly as a blonde or brunette!

H has had a struggle getting her dress for the wedding, lots of indecision, bought one then took it back but I am sure if she had reverted to her fashion sense between 5-11 she would have done fine. I like the Christmassy one particularly. These were lovely years, hard work as I was on my own with her and her brother, but loved every minute of it. They were content, good fun to be with and always willing to go places and do things. The pressures of the world rarely entered those days.
