Nutria
First of all.... I'd like to thank whoever is in charge of this beautiful weather. Joe and I had decided to take the dogs to canyon lake today, but it turns out that the lake is full of disease right now. Instead, we took the dogs to Landa Park in New Braunfels. We saw lots of ducks, geese, fish, and Nutria. Nutria you ask? We'd never seen one in the wild before; they look a lot like an otter with a hint of rat. They have huge heads and long tails, and are known for whacking ducklings on their heads and devouring them whole. After the park, we went to a snow cone stand; Joe got a Tiger's Blood snow cone and I got Strawberry Daiquiri. Red tongues were had by all!
