Jimena De La Frontera
Dodging the showers, we dashed out for a breath of fresh air to the little town of Jimena de la Frontera. It is a typical white village, with sprawling little houses and tiny winding streets.
At the top of the hill are the ruins of a castle, which is slowly being restored. The views from the top were spectacular, but we didn't stay long. The clouds looked threatening and Jacqui had to go to Gibraltar for a meeting.
Even in Spain, it rains on Bank Holidays!
