~Running in the rain ~

Today I went to Emilie's track meet. I came early and set myself up in front of the running long jump. This time she might of noticed me though because I was sitting under my umbrella.
Once the track meet started the coach said if they couldn't find any volunteers they wouldn't be able to start the long jump and triple jump event. The kids were all cold and ready to compete. You guessed it I was now a volunteer. I learned all about what is a scratch, how to rake the sand and how to measure each jump. This was all good except it was in the rain and wind, and I wasn't able to get any pictures of Emilie except a quick shot when she was running in the 800 yard dash.
