Columbus Day ....hmmmmmmm?

On our afternoon walk we decided to walk through the new Municipal Parking lot. At the Grist Mill a group was gathered. They were sharing stories, celebrating "Indigenous People Day." There is a lot of conversation about changing this holiday. I think we will see it changed soon.

At the end of the lot is the newly renovated Bernard Langlais Indian, looking so proud to be indigenous. While I can, I will say, "Happy Columbus Day!"
