St. Rule's Tower
Local holiday today, marking the start of the tattie holidays.
A dry bright day was forecast so we had decided to travel through to St.Andrews.
The day wasn't as bright as forecast and there was quite a stiff breeze blowing down at the seafront. We decided that a wander round the town was best taking in the cathedral grounds.
This is a favourite place of ours to have a picnic but the weather was on the chilly side today so no picnic.
The tower you can see in this shot is St. Rules and you can climb right to the top which gives you a great view over the town.
Stopped off in Dundee to visit a bookshop where I treated myself to Norman Ackroyd's A Shetland Notebook which is magical :-)
