Illuminations

Oh i do like to be beside the seaside :)

A spontaneous afternoon in Blackpool on a beautiful autumn day.
We spent a few hours on the central pier. Dylan absolutely loved the rides. Lily loved getting on the rides, cried most of the time they were running, and then eagerly ran to find another one - on which to cry again! Strange child. They each won poodles (called 'lamby') on the hook a duck thanks to some cheating from the lady behind the counter and are totally made up with their new toys.

We watched a lovely sunset, shared fish and chips, sticks of rock and vanilla fudge then headed home along the prom, enjoying the illuminations en route.
