Family Decoration

Today my family and I decorated. I got the Dutch Commemorative Medal for my work during our UN mission in Mali (MINUSMA). My wife with a brooch of a "Carnation" , for her support of the family and me during the mission. The "Carnation" is the symbol of the Dutch Warveteran. The leaf part of the brooch is the V of Veteran but also the V of "Vrede" Peace Mission. My children are decorated with a small pendant which a peace dove is engraved. They also support the mission and need a long time without a father.
