Just take the ends off.

Unfortunately it wasn't just the ends. It was the the ends, the middles and the beginnings. The poor boy has been shaved. I take full responsibility for not grooming him regularly enough and his coat gets so matted he always ends up having the whole lot taken off. He's not a happy boy.
