Orchid

Like everywhere else, the weather is horrid today. Although I did visit the hygienist today, I thought the weather was going to improve this afternoon. No chance of that so an indoor blip was called for.

This orchid was given to me for my 60th birthday by a good friend, Julie. We were in our Canarian home at the time. Hubby made a box for it and I brought it home as hand luggage. I have managed to get it to flower on 3 more occasions but each year, it gets later in the season. It does go on the occasional holiday to stay with my mother in law when we are away.
