Thursday?...That must mean Oslo then?

As Goretex correctly guessed...tonight is Oslo (in Norway, in case you didn't know).

Started the day in Rome. We had a meeting at 9:00am with the CIO at Rome airport. We got to the airport, and he didn't answer the phone. Kept trying...finally got him at 10. He had had some interruptions! Told us to meet him at T5...we thought we were there...but we were actually standing at T3. Loads of confusion. Finally met him at 11:45 and got 30 minutes with him!

However - it was a good 30 minutes...and he asked for a proposal.

He explained the interruption was that the aircon in the main server room had broken down. It had got to 28.5 degrees. Another 1.5 degrees and the servers turn off, shutting the airport. They just took a sledge hammer to the wall and made a big hole!

Nice flight up to Oslo and into town. However, the high speed train was closing down...some sort of problem. Took a taxi. I think I mentioned taxi's were expensive last week?

Well the taxi was around £140!!!!

Nice Chinese, followed by a walk. It was BBQ weather in Rome, but -18 in Oslo. Walked up and blipped the Royal Palace.

A bit of email and off to bed.
