Home sweet home - again

I can't do home sweet home blips featuring the A9 and Midlothian without mentioning the wild west. Obviously commitments permit me getting a blip of the Macleod's Tables, Greepe, Rothesay or Ettrick Bay but the West is where I feel at home. I did a lot of growing up there, summers etc and the best things about the West (in no particular order) are:

The smell of Bog Myrtle
Running around a fank with a dosing gun (as a kid)
A bucket of fresh mackerel
A salt herring
Hay making
Puirt a beul
Trudging through a howling gale, knowing there's a fire inside
Grandparents
The sun disappearing behind Rhum or the Arran hills
