Anniversary

14 years ago, me and Michelle got on a boat with our parents for 15 mile trip along a tropical coastline, and got dropped off on a palm fringed beach of black volcanic sand. We went snorkelling amongst a kaliedoscope of tropical fishes and coral, then got dressed up in a room out of a James Bond movie, had a cold glass of local beer under the Piton mountains and got married in a tree house under an arch adorned with tropical flowers. In the evening we had a 5 course meal overlooked by an opossum in a nearby palm, followed by an exciting 2 hour taxi ride through jungly mountains where we met wild white horses under a full moon on a pee stop.

This year, we celebrated with a fabulous walk in the Lake District with our beautiful kids from our holiday cottage. Life just gets better and better..
