Before the kids, we'd often cycle through through Tentsmuir forest and out to the wide open, wild-ish beach at the mouth of the River Tay. 7-8miles round trip with 2-3 miles walking.
Today I did the same trip with the kids, for the first time and it felt... wonderful! Start of things to come.
Alice struggled on the rough track at points but managed amazingly well for a 4yo. Both had falls learning experiences, but no serious injuries.

I've just noticed looking at this photo with their hair hidden under helmets, how similar they both are. Not impossible to gauge the age difference, but Alice is catching Rosie up!
